River Levels
Well, I'm still not exactly sure what I'm going to put here yet. I'm still thinking about something like a rough guide of translating rainfall and the river's level to a probability of each creek being up. But there are so many variables affecting the creeks, it may be of little use. If anybody has some good ideas, let me know at AmelungC@missouri.edu.

In the mean time, I've created a Konfabulator Widget called the RiverMonitor. Originally, Konfabulator only worked on Macs but they just released a Windows version. Amazingly, the widget I made for the Mac works on a PC.

This widget runs on your Mac OSX or Windows desktop and provides information on the current river level at Roselle (Note: the gauge level has been converted using the same formula as used on this website), the current weather and a one-day weather forecast for Farmington, MO. Click on the appropriate image below to download the RiverMonitor file. You can find the installation instructions here. Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!
